Mabel's not what she use to be

With my loved sewing machine Mabel, sick and in need of repair I am reduced to searching for inspiration. Back in London all i ever needed to do for this was visit Liberty's - the happiest place (shop) on earth.  Nowadays  I can only Google some of their divine fabrics and dream.  This delightful one is by Swedish designers Svenskt Tenn *swoon*

    I hadn't heard of Liberty's before but after checking out their on line store I think I will add it to my list of reasons for a 2011 UK trip!

    Despair not, there are many places in Australia to buy Liberty print- Cleggs in Melbourne seems to have the largest range i know of & for an online stockist try: http://www.tessuti-shop.com/collections/liberty-of-london

    Of course it is nothing to visiting in person...
